Success at Loddon’s Funky Feet Dance School Continues…

Vicky Codling’s Funk Feet School of Dance and Performing Arts seem to chassé from one success to another in recent times, and the good news continues as they announce that the school has been picked out of 1000 contestants in a competition to perform at a Diamonds Kids show.

The performance was submitted online and judges selected the Loddon based school to proceed in the competition and perform at a regional show in York as part of the 72 entrants who made it through from the initial 1000.

Funky Feet will hope their performance is good enough to take them even further, with a chance to perform at a venue in the West End the ultimate prize.

In other news, the school are starting up a new selection of classes this September. From a “grown up and little persons music and movement” class on Thursdays (2.30pm-3.30pm) at the Hollies to a new special needs dance class between 6.15pm-7pm on Thursday evenings. The school are holding a ‘try it and see’ week from Monday 8th Oct but anyone can come along any time to have a go (first lesson is free).

Vicky is also starting to offer birthday party and hen party packages, as well as first dance lessons for wedding couples. This adds to those classes already on offer; tap, ballet, modern, street dance, musical theatre, drama, acrogym, and adult dance.
