Loddon United Football Club has received a financial boost from the phone and broadband provider TalkTalk. The club will be sponsored by TalkTalk for the next 12 months.
Residents in Loddon, Chedgrave, Hardley and Mundham will also benefit from a further £50,000 investment by TalkTalk towards improving broadband options for Loddon by expanding it’s Next Generation Network.
Loddon United Football Club has been in existence since the early 1900s. The club welcomes anyone interested in getting involved in football, either as a player, coach or volunteer and offers a great way to get structured exercise, learn some new skills, make new friends and work as part of a team.
Tom Baylis, Secretary at Loddon United Football Club said: “We are very pleased that TalkTalk has chosen to support Loddon United Football Club over the next twelve months. The donation will be used to improve the pitch including re-turfing both goal mouths and centre of the pitch”.
Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at TalkTalk says: “In this amazing Olympic year TalkTalk is also delighted to be supporting sport at grassroots level up and down the country. Loddon United Football Club is a fantastic example of a local club engaging and enthusing the next generation to enjoy sport. We wish them every success with future endeavours”.
